Mental Health Counseling
Our licensed professionals provide personalized therapy for individuals aged 5 and older, offering individual, family, and couples counseling tailored to meet the diverse needs of each client. We are a collaborative team committed to supporting all members of the family and believe in the importance of working with entire family systems to promote healing, connection, and long-term well-being.
Our therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic—honoring the mind-body connection and the unique experiences each person brings to the counseling process. We utilize evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), trauma-informed therapy, and a variety of other clinical interventions to best support our clients.
As a team, we value collaboration not only within our practice but also with the broader community. When appropriate, we coordinate care with probation officers, Child Protective Services caseworkers, school counselors, treatment centers, and other community professionals. We believe in fostering positive, professional relationships and making thoughtful referrals to ensure each client has access to the resources and wraparound support they need.
Cultural humility and competence are foundational to our work. Every member of our team has received training in cultural responsiveness, and we continuously strive to provide inclusive, affirming care to individuals and families from all backgrounds. Whether addressing mental health challenges, navigating relationships, or supporting personal growth, our goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Psychiatric Services
Our psychiatric services are provided by a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with specialized education and training in psychiatric medications and mental health care. Our provider brings both clinical expertise and a compassionate, client-centered approach to medication management.
We begin with a comprehensive assessment of your mental health, symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. This evaluation helps determine whether medication might be an appropriate part of your treatment plan. If so, we will work collaboratively with you to identify the right type and dosage of medication to support your goals.
Medication is never one-size-fits-all. We take a personalized and collaborative approach—integrating medication management into your broader therapy goals. You are an active participant in the process, and your preferences, values, and comfort level are always respected.
We understand starting medication can feel overwhelming or uncertain—and we are here to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and help you make informed decisions about your care. Our goal is to provide clear, understandable information to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible.
We take a team-based approach to ensure you receive the best possible care. If needed, your psychiatric provider will work with other members of your healthcare team, including your therapist, primary care provider, or other professionals, to ensure your treatment is coordinated and comprehensive.
Psychiatric services are available to both existing clients and individuals outside of our agency. Whether you are currently receiving counseling or seeking psychiatric services independently, our team is here to guide you through the process and determine the best course of action for your care.
